Prince Harry was apparently trying to go incognito at a polo match in Aspen, Colorado, on Wednesday, December 17.

Before the match, the royal, 41, was introduced as “Harry Wales,” which is the name he used while serving in the British military, Page Six reported on Monday, December 22.

However, it seems wife Meghan Markle, 44, and their kids, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, may use Sussex as their last name.“You have kids and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children,’” the duchess told guest Mindy Kaling on With Love, Meghan earlier this year. “It just means so much to go, ‘This is our family name, our little family name.’”

Harry, however, didn’t want to call attention to himself, a witness told Page Six.

“He was there to play polo with his best friend Nacho,” the witness said of famed polo player Nacho Figueras. “No titles, just fun.”

“Off the field though,” added the witness, “security wouldn’t let any photographers near him.”

In a 2023 60 Minutes interview, Anderson Cooper asked Harry why he and Meghan haven’t renounced his titles, because they’ve been accused of cashing in on them.

“What difference would that make?” Harry responded.
