A website has surfaced online about the alleged wedding of Joachim of Belgium to Kimberley Banjoko, a "noble" woman from New York.
Everything points to Kimberley Banjoko herself being behind the "news." In recent years, she's called herself "Lady Kimberley Banjoko" online, a title that supposedly refers to the British aristocracy. However, that seems impossible: Banjoko is American, born in New York City. She claims to have studied at Syracuse University in upstate New York and has since built a career as an author, top model, actress, fashion expert, and journalist. On her blog, she presents herself as "the star of the future." She seems to be projecting an image of herself that doesn't reflect reality.
