A Quiet Place has got to be one of the best premise films ever. Like its simplicity done so well.

Wtf is genre?
To me, the premise is that some dumb, constructed alien monster that virtually can't be defeated is all but wiping out humanity. Sure, having to be quiet at all costs creates a lot of tension and makes the movie super thrilling. And I'm sure it's super well executed and everything, and I know the actors are awesome. But this stupid monster backstory just ruins it for me and I can't watch it.
Helps having a Missus who it at the pinnacle of Hollywood Actors 🙂
Great movie, but it lacks more John kazinski, i wish john or Jim Halpert had more screen time
I actually wish the opening scene was scrapped now. Going the whole film without being able to understand why they weren't talking then to have the twist of an alien invasion sounds like a much better film.
A quiet place was an intense and extremely well executed movie. I suspended disbelief and the acting Was superb
