Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace’s neo-Western series Landman is the gift that keeps on giving. The Paramount+ show, based on the famous Boomtown podcast and starring Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott and more, explores the West Texas oil industry where the stakes are high and there’s drama around every corner.
In the latest episode, Landman introduces a new character: Cheyenne, played by Francesca Xuereb. She’s a dancer at Rick’s Cabaret hired by Thornton’s Tommy Norris for his ailing father, T.L. Norris (Elliott). The younger Norris wants her to act as T.L.’s physical therapist because he’s “as stubborn as a jack mule, but he can’t say no to a pretty woman”. Cheyenne agrees to the unusual gig and quickly builds a wholesome rapport with the older gentleman.
