Although they are but 12, 10 and 7-years-old, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have been secretly carrying out royal duties that they’ll be expected to lead on when they’re older – namely supporting worthy charities and helping to raise awareness for good causes.
Back in 2023, the three Wales children visited The Baby Bank, a local charity that supports families in need, something that their senior royal family members, such as mum Kate Middleton and dad Prince William, are also routinely spotted doing. During the trip, the three Wales children helped to pack up donated items.
Now, it seems the children’s trip to The Baby Bank left a lasting impression, as according to new comments from Lauren Hall, the Bank’s co-CEO, it’s been revealed that George, Charlotte and Louis have continued to quietly support the charity’s efforts.

“A [royal] staff member approached us for a list of items we use on a regular basis, but also ones that we could gift throughout the year,” Hall told HELLO!. “We then had the items dropped off to us that the royals had gone out and purchased.
“It was off the back of a visit that the Prince of Wales did to a school, where he was gifted ‘money’ as a ‘pay it forward’ for the children to do an act of kindness, and we were thought of as the charity to support.”
She added, “For us, we’re just delighted that we popped up in their minds again. Of all the charities they could have supported, it’s really nice to know that we were straight away on their radar. It’s lovely they remembered their visit to us. They were very much engaged on that visit and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. And all donations go a long way, so it’s a huge help to us.”
Elsewhere, ahead of Christmas, Prince George was pictured visiting The Passage, a central London homeless shelter, with Prince William – who poignantly visited the charity himself when he was around George’s age, alongside his mother Princess Diana. When Diana passed, William took over as patron.
Sounds like the Wales children are more than ready to carry on their parents’ work in the charitable space, then!
