The Eternity and Atropia star, 35, has emerged as the new favorite to front the franchise, with reports suggesting he has told his pals he will be taking on the coveted role.
“He’s been blabbing all over town. Callum is the new Bond, it’s been confirmed. Everyone in his circle is talking about it. It’s the worst-kept secret going,” a source told the Daily Mail.

There are even rumors that model-turned-actor Turner’s popstar fiancée, Dua Lipa, will be responsible for the song for the franchise’s next movie. The duo have emerged as the internet’s new favorite power couple, with a video of them dancing beneath the Eiffel Tower becoming a source of widespread adoration across social media.
Speculation has continued to build as major publications weigh in. Esquire reported the actor will “probably” play Bond, with The Times and The Independent following suit – the latter saying it “makes perfect sense”.

Is There A New James Bond Movie Coming Out?
The James Bond franchise entered a new era earlier this year after being acquired by Amazon MGM Studios, which now holds full creative control of the series.
There is no official release date for the latest instalment of the franchise, known as Bond 26, but reports suggest a release before 2028 is unlikely.
Canadian director Denis Villeneuve — the filmmaker behind Dune and Blade Runner 2049 — has been confirmed to direct Bond 26. He is known for his visually striking, atmospheric, and intellectually driven thrillers, marking a bold creative direction for the next chapter of the franchise.
Villeneuve will direct a third Dune film which is set for release in December 2026, making a 2028 release likely.
