In a statement to BBC News NI, The Housing Executive said: “The incident was reported to police by the organisation running this facility.
“Our Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) provides arrangements to ensure availability of accommodation to those sleeping rough when there is an increased risk due to the weather, including when temperatures fall near or below freezing. These arrangements were in place last night and all presenters were accommodated.”
The Executive has also paid tribute to those who help people in need of emergency support.
A statement said: “We would like to thank all of our partners who work with us to ensure the successful coordination and implementation of SWEP and deliver emergency support when it is most needed.”
