FireStar Toys is once again preparing to cross the streams, teasing that somethin’ strange will be coming from the fan-based brick builders this Friday.
Taking to social media, the UK-based company announced a new wave of Ghostbusters-inspired LEGO creations under its Ghosthunters branding. According to FireStar, the upcoming releases are coming “straight out of containment,” with fans encouraged to keep their “PKE meters handy and their proton packs fully charged.”PKE meters handy and your proton packs charged, this one’s going to be a real Class 5 event.”
The tease didn’t stop there. Alongside the announcement, FireStar Toys also referenced Vigo the Carpathian, quoting his ominous “On a mountain of skulls…” monologue. Paired with the text was a deliberately blurred image that appears to show a brick-built Containment Unit.
For fans hoping to trap these for their LEGO collection, FireStar’s new assortment of Ghosthunters releases will go live this Friday at 9:00 AM EST.
As noted, this isn’t FireStar Toys’ first foray into Ghostbusters-inspired LEGO. A few years back, we reported on a range of unlicensed but unmistakably familiar minifigures and accessories from the retailer, many of which remain available today. Current in-stock items include a very familiar-looking Gozarian dubbed the Destructive Deity, along with a certain, ahem… “brickless” minifigure appropriately titled the Brickless Bureaucrat.

There’s also no shortage of clever in-universe accessories, from a Spirit Guide to Egon’s favorite snack, the Twonkie — and yes, that spelling is intentional. For custom builders, some of our favorite offerings remain the customizable torso pieces, which allow fans to personalize their minifigures’ nametags at checkout.

We’ll have a full feature and breakdown once the new releases are officially revealed this Friday.
