And being comfortable in front of the camera has helped Robert take on a number of careers throughout his life, from helping his family operate Australia Zoo to hosting his duties.
“I can do things like I’m a Celebrity, or I can feeding crocodiles at Australia Zoo,” he explained. “Or, on the science front, we have the world’s longest-running telemetry study of crocodilians in the world in partnership with the University of Queensland.”
“You’ve got to be able to be a horticulturist, a scientist, an entertainer, and for me, a photographer,” Robert added. “I’ve gotten to work in maybe 20 different industries within this one career, and I’m very lucky to be able to do all that.”
