Jonathan Anderson dressed seven celebrities for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, and this Dior showing landed somewhere between surprise wins and familiar territory.

Light Blue Reset
I did not expect to be excited by Jessie Buckley at this event, but she proved me wrong. After a run of black and beige looks, the Irish actress stepped onto the red carpet in a light blue Dior silk strapless dress that immediately woke up her awards season campaign. The silhouette is lovely and the colour suits her beautifully, but I am not going to ignore the visible pulling and fit issues around the hem and folds. A stronger finish would have elevated this further, but even with those notes, this was a refreshing shift. Desert diamonds jewels completed her look and matching blue Jimmy Choo Love pumps.

Elegant But Miscast
This has nothing to do with Mia Goth wearing black. The Dior black satin dress with an embroidered neckline is undeniably beautiful, but it reads older than it should on her. It feels like a look better suited to Catherine Zeta Jones. The elegance is there, but the match feels off. Her jewels were courtesy of Dior Fine Jewellery.

All About The Necklace
Priyanka Chopra looked striking from her Bvlgari necklace up, but the Dior look itself left me cold and underwhelmed. The navy satin bustier had promise, yet the ties dull the impact and the skirt never fully comes together. It is not bad, just not for me.

Textbook Dior Menswear
Joe Alwyn continues to be an excellent Dior friend of the house under Jonathan Anderson. This navy velvet tuxedo with silk shawl lapels works because it is confident and unfussy, allowing fit and fabric to do the work. This is classic red carpet menswear done properly. A Hublot Classic Fusion King Gold Blue timepiece completed his look along with Dior shoes.

EJAE joined bandmate Audrey Nuna as a winner on the night for Best Song, and their style approaches could not be more different. This Dior strapless gown with lace petal detailing moves in a softer, more romantic direction, creating a clear contrast between the red carpet styles. Bvlgari jewels completed her look.

Forever In Her Comfort Zone
Rashida Jones stayed firmly within her comfort zone in a Dior black lace strapless dress. Yes, it is exactly what you would expect from her, and that is precisely why it works. This is a case of knowing your lane and executing it well. Boucheron jewels completed her look.

Back To A Classic Tux
Leonardo DiCaprio flirted with colour earlier this awards season, but here he returned to form in a classic Dior tuxedo. It is familiar, reliable, and exactly what you want from him on a night like this.
