People are divided over how the Kardashians handle lending each other money after Khloé Kardashian lifted the lid during a recent episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.

The 41-year-old star, who has an estimated net worth of $60 million, was answering fan questions when the topic of money came up, with one listener asking if Khloé and her rich and famous family ever Venmo each other.

For what it’s worth, Khloé’s sisters include Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who are both thought to have reached billionaire status in recent years.

“Oh my gosh,” Khloé initially said in response to the question. “Me and my sisters do not Venmo each other, but we always take turns. Like, I would never go with one of my sisters and expect them to always pay, we always rotate, it’s just never a thing — everyone’s really respectful with each other.”
Khloé then shared a perfect example of their set-up, with the mom-of-two explaining that all of the children in the family attend the same school.

“We all go to the same school, and on Fridays, it’s Spirit Wear Day, and they have a little shop, and it’s spirit wear clothes, and they only accept cash, or whatever,” Khloé went on. “And Kim, like, I had to get her… She didn’t have any money, so I was like: ‘Oh, I’ll get it for you, you’re fine.’ And she’s like: ‘I’ll pay you back, I’ll tell my business manager to give you the money,’ I’m like: ‘…Kim, it’s fine, like, we’re good.’”
“And we’re always good, and I didn’t get it back,” Khloé shared. “But then later, she’s like: ‘Oh, let me buy this for you since you got me that stuff.’ Like, we’re always aware of someone else spending money, we don’t take advantage.”

“I think we’re, dare I say, normal, in that regard?” the star then expressed. “Like, we’re respectful of each other. I’m not like: ‘Kim has it, she’s a billionaire.’ Like, no, money is money.”

And Khloé’s comments have received a seriously mixed reaction from fans, which is pretty baffling — to say the least. One popular comment on a TikTok video of this podcast clip reads: “This is out of touch. Again.”

Another comment that has been liked more than 14k times includes a picture of a dog rolling its eyes and simply reads: “‘I’ll tell my business manager to send you money.’”
“What a weird thing to share,” somebody else wrote, while one more joked: “i alwaysss be telling my sister to talk to my business mgr when she wanna be paid back so yeah i get it.”
But — business manager aside — others took the complete opposite stance, with one person pointing out: “That’s not any different from normal family.”

“In a true friendship/family, the same $100 can just float around the group without ever needing to be repaid. It’ll even out,” somebody else agreed.
Addressing the critics, another commented: “It’s not about how much money they have. Khloe is clearly stating that they help each other. I do for you today,and you end up doing for me next week🤷♀️It’s not hard to understand.”
While one more concluded: “I feel like most secure families do that. Me and my cousins are by no means ‘wealthy’ but we got eachother all the time. It all comes out in the wash.”
