Continuing his success streak, director Anil Ravipudi is on the verge of scoring yet another blockbuster with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead and Victory Venkatesh in a special role. Remarkably, the film crossed the 100 Cr mark by its second day.

During the success meet, producers Sushmita Konidela and Sahu Garapati expressed their happiness over the blockbuster response and the unanimously positive feedback pouring in from all quarters.

Anil Ravipudi shared his gratitude toward Telugu audiences, promising to make even more good films in the future. He said, “My thanks to Megastar Chiranjeevi for giving me this opportunity and such a mega gift. I usually take 2–3 months to complete a script, but this is the fastest script of my life. I finished the first half in 15 days and the second half in 10 days- a total of 25 days. The main reason I could go this fast was Chiranjeevi. From how to begin, how to build moments, and how to conclude- the inspiration for everything was Chiranjeevi. I connected all his special traits like dots and wrote this story. It flowed so effortlessly because of him.”

He added, “Chiranjeevi worked for 85 days, and every single day with him was memorable. Bheems worked very hard this Sankranthi. Though she typically plays heroine roles, Catherine took up this character, and I’m very happy with her performance. And in the end, we paired her with Venkatesh. My thanks to Nayanthara as well. Both Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh worked together without any ego or insecurity.”

Anil Ravipudi also clarified that Ilayaraja personally gave them permission to use his classic song Sundari, and there were no issues regarding its inclusion.
