How does someone with like 40 videos and under 50k subscribers win “Best Podcast” ?????

She bought this award. They wanted Megyn Kelly but Megyn refused to play their BS game of buying awards. Poehler is obviously a sellout.

How is interviewing celebrities worthy of winning an award? It's cheap. Every year will be just tv/movie people with podcasts that win.

I like her podcast, it's one of the better celebrity podcasts, but this is the most out of touch nominee list I've seen in a while. I'll echo the why no Conan sentiment because he's self indulgent with celeb culture too but at least he's funny. Where are the non celebrity/ celeb adjacent but very high quality podcasts? Rick Glassman (the 3 part Paul Rudd series alone should get him atleast a nom)? Adam Freidland? Mf bad friends at least occasionally goes viral and is funny enough and doesn't rely on guests. Either take the category seriously with no gatekeeping or get rid of it. However respect for nominating armchair expert because atleast they do something different, getting quite deep and therapeutic with the guests, etc etc

All of Hollywood is a complete joke. Her podcast is forced and it sucks. There are dozens if not hundreds of better podcasts out there. I guess if you pad the right pockets you get a little trophy. Laughable. Not because the show was good and made me laugh. Because it sucks so bad and you all stand up and act like it is great and she is brave and strong. Hilarious for that.

I finally understand Golden Globes – it's not about the best, it's about what some people voted. I thought foreign journalists vote according to who watches or listens… but no… it's just their opinion. Not the best, not the most listened… cool imma listen to the funny monologue and stop after as its useless
