The government is reviewing Prince Harry’s security case, and it could result in the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle having state-sponsored protection in the U.K.

“It would open the door, but if you look at the polls, her [Meghan’s] ratings are absolutely terrible. She is not popular with the British public,” royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News when asked about the Sussexes’ case.

“I cannot see Meghan coming to Britain before the Invictus Games because what would she do and why would she come? It is not going to be as simple as turning up and seeing King Charles,” Richard Fitzwilliams continued.

GB News claimed the Duchess of Sussex has “no affection” for Britain.

One of Meghan Markle’s biggest complaints about the U.K. was the public’s fixation with her biracial identity.

“I mean, if there’s any time in my life that it’s been more focused on my race, it’s only once I started dating my husband. Then I started to understand what it was like to be treated like a Black woman,” Meghan told Mariah Carey on “Archetypes.” “Because up until then, I had been treated like a mixed woman. And things really shifted.”

In a separate interview, Meghan Markle called her time in the U.K. “inauthentic.”

Meghan also told The Circuit she “couldn’t be as vocal” while working for her in-laws.
