Great interview!!! Sinners was phenomenal!! 👏👏👏
Congratulations to you both! Great hang 👍
I hate horror and I saw this 4 times in the theater it was amazing second to part one wicked for me TU
I just love him! Wanted to tear up at multiple points of this interview just to see and hear the pure joy in his words.
Totally deserved your award! You bring out the most human parts of ppl that so many put on a pedestal that’s not realistic…. Then they see this and how they act and… I think it gives everyone hope about chasing our dreams, but also to help the masses remember we are all just humans doing our best ❤
It's the lady that somehow has a better podcast than Joe Rogan. Says the GGs.
This man must be protected by any means! Also he is sharp dressed always. I know that he won't but I'm praying to take best director and best film Oscar.
Supremely handsome episode
And that's why she won the Golden Globe. That was wonderful.
laying in bed smiling the whole time watching this
@59:48 Jake from State Farm is my all time favorite SNL pre recorded skit. The fact that he laughs at that is icing on the cake for this interview. My algorithm has thrown me every Ryan Coogler interview and this was my favorite. Such a relatable, positive conversation.
The genuine attention Coogler pays to the people around him is so incredible, he does them so much justice when he talks about them
Its so crazy that he is so humble and beautiful while being so talented
Sinners is my favorite movie in years, not only 2025. Soooo original, incredible music, the cast (!), the cinematography that creates an incredible atmosphere, the costumes, the STORY, the directing of course! and MBJ! Nothing like it around, just so unique, grabs you and never lets you go.
41:53 such a good description and part of history!! 💯
On why watching movies in a cinema is so important to Ryan. That's why I will always go film festival screenings in my city. It's magical to have 500 people in a century old theater who are just as passionate about films as you are, your emotions in sync. Laughing, crying, breathing as one. I will always choose this over seeing the same thing with about a dozen people 6 months later
Best interview of the year 🎉❤
Him mentioning 'The Other Guys' as one of his comedy favourites…. salute sir. That film is special.
Anything involving Ryan Coogler I am happy to watch. He is a talented man!
Amy your a leftist loser…Trump Trump lets go
The talking drum explanation by Ludwig Göransson is beautifully put. 'almost like morse code, analogue on a drum' yep! Yoruba people, we call it 'ilu gan gan'
When the algorithm works.
My fvorite ep so far. What a fascinating human.
I loved Sinners so much, it’s definitely my fav of 2025. I hope Ryan Coogler wins the Oscar for best director and the film gets best picture.
Ludwig! Wish he gets his own interview. I'm a big a fan of Hans Zimmer but i'm getting more interested with Ludwig. Too bad his GG speech wasn't broadcasted but that's awesome he's in the world of Chris Nolan!
With all of the creative originality of "Sinners" and the incredible acting of MBJ, how in the world could Timothy win Golden Glode Best Actor for a movie that just came out and he just plays a man most people never heard of??? MBJ played two entirely different people with realism. The world just isn't fair.
Now get Angela Bassett next pls 🥺💖
