Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) and Charlie Barnett (“Russian Doll”) star as a grieving couple in the first image from Imposters.
Caleb J. Phillips writes and directs the horror-thriller, which seems to share DNA with Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. In the film, after a couple’s baby boy is taken, the desperate mother learns of a way to bring him back. However, her husband begins to suspect that what she returned with isn’t their son.
Yul Vazquez, Bates Wilder, Luisina Quarleri, Thomas Parobek, Ian Lyons, Taylor Karin, Lee Bennett, and Declan Bennett round out the cast.
Hell House LLC franchise producer Joe Bandelli produces alongside Thomas Bond and Sara Seligman.
Rothe is also starring in the upcoming horror movie River with Jany Levy and Affection.
Imposters will have its world premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas, in March.
