Big-deal pop stars love announcing their returns and unveiling their new albums at the beginning of the year, and now we’ve got another one. Vaguely feline clothes-horse heartthrob Harry Styles is coming back on March 6 with a new LP called Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, a frankly very irritating title. (That’s six words, one period, and one comma. I am not looking forward to typing it a bunch of times.)
Styles has been keeping a relatively low profile lately, at least to the extent that a pop star of his stature can keep a low profile. His last endeavor was to run the Berlin marathon under a fake name. (He finished in less than three hours, so good job, Harry Styles.) Lately, he’s been teasing a new album by appearing around the world on cryptic billboards, which bear the phrases “we belong together” and “see you very soon.” Right now, we’ve got the title, the cover art, and the fact that longtime Styles collaborator Kid Harpoon will serve as executive producer. Also, the album has 12 songs, but the tracklist remains mysterious. There’s a pre-order page, which reportedly crashed as soon as it went live. (It seems fine now.)
Styles’ last album was 2022’s Harry’s House, which went double platinum and sent the single “As It Was” to #1 for 15 weeks. Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally is out 3/6 on Erskine/Columbia.
