She is now one of the most recognizable faces in college sports but this former athlete wasn’t always the sizzling social media sensation she is today.
Now 23 years old, she is a former national champion who has graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and starred as the face of countless brand campaigns.
Alongside a sporting career among the SEC elite, she has amassed an army of 13 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, with her social media stardom helping her to amass a fortune of around $6million.
And to top it all off, she has an extremely famous and gifted boyfriend to boot.
But this sports star has come along way to become the confident and stunning young woman who has reached the dizzying heights of fame – and her recent throwback picture proves it.
Livvy Dunne, the former LSU gymnast, hopped on the latest viral social media trend on Monday when she revealed a photo of her 13-year-old self.

As most of the world heralds in 2026, social media users appear to be stuck in 2016. Many have touted the new year as the ‘new 2016’ as they reminisce on the good old times from a decade ago.
And as part of the nostalgia many users, including several high-profile celebrities, have been sharing photos representative of the era, sending the 2016 hashtag soaring.
Dunne, never one to miss out on the action, joined in on the trend uploading an adorable snap of her younger self to her Instagram story.
A baby-faced Dunne could be seen posing in front of a purple wall plastered with LSU’s logo – something she would become very familiar with, enrolling in the school in 2020.
She wore lilac leggings that finished just above her knee and a gray tank top, finishing off the simple look with a pair of flipflops – a far cry from her present day mini skirts and stilettos.
Her now platinum tresses were still their natural brunette but it appears she has made little change to their flowing length.
However, Dunne didn’t appear to be the biggest fan of her endearing younger self as she accompanied the story with a another showing a selfie of her current glamorous self, writing: ‘why are yall actually looking good in 2016?’
The fresh-faced young aspiring gymnast in the photo would go on to become well accustomed with LSU, where she spent her college gymnastic career and found widespread fame.

The New Jersey native first started her journey as a social media influencer in 2020, when she signed up on TikTok in her freshman year.
Initially, Dunne posted videos of her gymnastic routines but later started posting videos of other areas of her life as well, propelling her popularity to new heights.
Before graduating last year following a fifth and final season with the Tigers, Dunne held the crown as the highest female earner in Name, Image and Likeness deals in the NCAA.
She landed countless brand deals with the likes of activewear brand Vuori, Grubhub, Bodyarmor, American Eagle Outfitters and Nautica.
She even starred in a commercial for Accelerator Active Energy Drinks with Kansas City Chiefs star and three-time Super Bowl champion, Travis Kelce.
Away from social media, she won a national championship with the Tigers in 2024 before officially bowing out from college gymnastics the following February.
Yet, even though she is no longer an active gymnast having brought the curtain down on her career along with her time at LSU, she still remains one of the most famous faces in the sporting sphere.
She has walked in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show, where she famously performed the splits on the runway, and has continued to wow in a number of editorial photoshoots, including recently gracing the pages of Maxim, all while maintaining her active social media presence.
Meanwhile, her high-profile relationship with MLB pitcher Paul Skenes ensures that eyes remain on her with Dunne regularly supporting her beau at Pittsburgh Pirates games and his milestone achievements.
