anyone who has watched the showtimes the borgias tv show knows françois arnaud as cesare borgia was the main pillar despite jeremy irons being the bigger name and the lead character on paper. it was françois arnaud (and sean harris to some extent) who had the most intense plotlines and chemistry with practically every character on screen. the absymal writing of this show is salvaged on so many occasions because the cast in amazing and françois arnaud did the most heavy lifting. i know his, sean harris', set and costume designer's backs hurt from carrying the whole show.
