Marty Supreme, Timothée Chalamet’s sports comedy that is loosely based on table tennis champ Marty Reisman, is reportedly coming soon to digital streaming.
Directed by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme opened in limited release on Dec. 19 before expanding to theaters nationwide on Dec. 25, 2025. The logline for Marty Supreme reads, “Marty Mauser (Chalamet), a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.”

Marty Supreme is reportedly coming to digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, Feb. 3, according to When to Stream. While When to Stream is typically accurate with its PVOD reports, the streaming tracker noted that Marty Supreme’s studio, A24, has not announced or confirmed the digital release of the film and it is subject to change.
When Marty Supreme is released on PVOD, it will be available on a variety of digital platforms, including Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Prime Video and YouTube Movies & TV. Prime Video currently has the film listed for pre-order for purchase for $24.99.

Since digital rentals typically are $5 less than purchase prices, viewers can expect to rent Marty Supreme for $19.99 for 48 hours.
How Was ‘Marty Supreme’ Received By Audiences And Critics?
Marty Supreme has grossed $70.1 million in domestic ticket sales and $8.5 million internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $78.6 million to date. The film had a production budget of $60 million to $70 million before marketing expenses, according to Variety.
Marty Supreme earned a “fresh” critics’ score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 290 reviews. The RT Critics Consensus for the film reads, “Serving up Timothée Chalamet at his most infectiously charismatic, Marty Supreme is a propulsive epic that realizes its sky-high aspirations even while it critiques its indelible hero’s toxic ambition.”
The pingpong comedy also won over audiences on RT, who awarded the film an 82% “fresh” Popcornmeter score based on 2,500-plus verified user ratings.

Marty Supreme’s most recent victories came with Best Actor wins for Timothée Chalamet at the Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globes (in the Musical or Comedy category), as well as an Outstanding Male Actor in a Lead Role in a Motion Picture nomination from SAG-AFTRA’s Actor Awards.
