Lionsgate is set to conclude its new The Strangers trilogy on February 6, but what if a cut exists that merges all three films into one supercut?!
A screening allegedly took place in Los Angeles last night (Jan. 16), where an audience expecting to see The Strangers: Chapter 3 was instead treated to a single edit of Renny Harlin’s entire trilogy, making his own “Whole Bloody Affair” for horror fans.
A handful of members of the press reportedly attended the screening and have been tweeting levels of admiration, even comparing it to Terrifier 2?!
“In this cut, it’s the most ambitious slasher film since TERRIFIER 2. Harlin’s a mad lad, & Madelaine Petsch is a helluva Final Girl,” exclaimed @billbria on X.
He adds: “It’s THE STRANGERS: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR. Renny Harlin’s Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN II (complete with Moody Blues).”
Dread has confirmed the validity of said edit, but no other details are available at this time.
