A major new biography about the Prince and Princess of Wales, William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, is set to be published at the end of February. The exciting release promises readers an unprecedented look inside the lives of Prince William and Kate Middleton, away from the usual glare of public ceremonies and official events.

The autobiography has been written by Russell Myers, the Mirror’s royal editor, who has nearly a decade’s worth of experience covering the couple. It’s also the first new biography to be released on the royal couple in over ten years! Drawing on extensive interviews with palace insiders, Myers is promising “seismic revelations” about the couple’s relationship, personal challenges and the inner workings of the modern monarchy they are helping to shape.

When will the book be published?

Myers took to X to announce the release of the book, saying, “I am delighted to announce that my first book, William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, will be published on 26th February”

Everyone’s clicking on…

And for those across the pond… “It will also be out in the US on 10th March…I can’t wait to share it with you all!” Mark it in your diaries, folks!

What will be in the book?

Since it’s been so long since the last biography about The Wales’, there’s lots to catch up on. Serving as an exploration of the arc of William and Catherine’s life together, it’s set to start from their first meeting as students at St Andrews University, follow their rise as senior members of the British royal family, and look ahead at their vision for a modern monarchy.

It’s also set to explore some pretty defining public and private moments that have shaped popular discourse around them in recent years. From the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the shock simultaneous cancer diagnoses of both Kate and King Charles, and the ongoing fallout between the working royals and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Myers described the biography as a book that “moves beyond the headlines as it explores love, resilience, and their journey together as they navigate their public duties amid this unprecedented era.”
