Nikki Glaser, the host you are!
In case you missed it, the comedian hosted the Golden Globes for the second year in a row last weekend after her standout performance at the 2025 event. Glaser’s second outing was met with just as much praise as her first, with compliments quickly rolling in from fans and fellow celebrities on social media for her effortlessly quick wit, laidback hosting style and her incredible wardrobe, with The Cut counting at least eight dress changes over the course of the evening.
And this week, the host with the most took her 2.5 million Instagram followers behind the scenes to give them a peek at everything that went into making the fabulous night possible.
Captioning the photo set “Nikki B. Werking”—which was a direct reference to a NSFW joke the comedian made during the ceremony about Michael B. Jordan—Glaser opened the 15-photo carousel with a short video clip of herself posing on the red carpet before the show. The second slide was also a video clip, revealing how the host was able to make her way through the tables during each commercial break, with the camera crew trailing behind her.
Other clips and photos in the set showed the star walking to the stage arm-in-arm with someone while singing the infectious “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters. Fans also received some intimate snapshots from the writers’ room as they planned the program, and a couple of peeks at how the star got ready with her glam and style team in her hotel room. In one such photo, Glaser read from her script as a member of her glam squad applied a soft, rosy glow to her cheeks.
Still, our favorite shot from the collection also happened to feature our favorite dress from her time hosting: that gorgeous, bright red ball gown. The piece was as timeless as it was trendy, thanks to its unique neckline, daring slit, and glistening satin-like fabric. She wore the number during her opening monologue, which definitely helped kick off the show with smiles and style.
And of course, we weren’t the only ones loving this look behind the curtain, with plenty of the star’s followers and famous friends happy to hop in her comment section on Instagram to share their praise for her performance:
“😍,” Olivia Dunne simply wrote.
“It is so fun watching you WIN,” Emily Calandrelli added.
“Nikki b. that girl ❤️,” the official Pinterest Instagram account wrote.
“Nikki B. slaying,” the official Hulu Instagram account concurred.
The 2026 Golden Globes may be all wrapped up until next year, but don’t fret, awards season fans! We still have the Academy Awards on the horizon, with the prestigious ceremony slated to air on Sunday, March 6, and Conan O’Brien acting as host.
