Turgoose said: “It’s a beautiful little script, very well written, and we’ve got a great cast attached to it.
“I’m a big advocate of anything positive around Grimsby, and anything that I can contribute towards it with the film industry,” he added.
Harding said familial relationships were really interesting to her.
“I think there’s just so much subtlety to them and so much nuance, that you can get so much drama out of the really mundane parts of life and the mundane relationships that you have.
“But when you actually look at them, they’re not so ordinary, and they’re very special,” she explained.
Filming took place at her grandparents’ house in Cleethorpes as the script had been written with that location in mind.
