Brooklyn Peltz Beckham takes to Instagram to air family grievances
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, broke his silence on family feud rumors with a scathing post on Instagram.
The Beckhams are far from strangers to the spotlight, but the glare has gotten particularly bright after damning revelations from Brooklyn Peltz Beckham.
The former model and chef, son of soccer icon David Beckham and singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, criticized his famous family in a series of scathing posts on social media on Jan. 19.
Following years of rumors of a family feud between the eldest Beckham son, wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and his parents, Peltz Beckham leveled several allegations of mistreatment against David and Victoria, saying his parents had “been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding.”
USA TODAY has reached out to Victoria and David Beckham’s representatives for comment.
Addressing speculation that he’s estranged from his family because of his marriage, Brooklyn Beckham wrote that “the narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards” and that instead, he has “been controlled by my parents for most of my life.”
“Inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into,” he added. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”

Who is Brooklyn Peltz Beckham?
Brooklyn Beckham, 26, is the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham.
In his teens, Brooklyn Beckham followed in his mother’s showbiz footsteps with careers in modeling and photography. He began modeling in 2014, landing editorials and covers for top publications including Vogue China, Interview, L’Uomo Vogue, T: The New York Times Style Magazine and Dazed Korea.
As a burgeoning photographer, Brooklyn Beckham worked on a campaign for British luxury fashion house Burberry in 2016. The following year, Beckham enrolled at the Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York to pursue a photography degree, though he later dropped out.
He released his first book of photography, “What I See,” in June 2017.
In 2021, Brooklyn Beckham ventured into the culinary world with the online video series “Cookin’ with Brooklyn.”

Nicola, 31, is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner. Her older brother, Will Peltz, is an actor.
Nicola Peltz Beckham began her own acting career in 2006 with a role in the Christmas comedy “Deck the Halls.” In the 2010s, she scored a recurring role on the A&E psychological drama “Bates Motel,” playing Bradley Martin opposite Freddie Highmore.

David Beckham

Victoria Beckham is music and fashion royalty.
Born Victoria Adams, the British singer shot to fame in the late ’90s as a member of the best-selling British girl group Spice Girls. The pop band, which gave Adams the famous nickname “Posh Spice,” has reportedly sold more than 100 million records worldwide and won five Brit Awards.
Following the Spice Girls’ disbandment in 2001, Victoria embarked on a short-lived solo career with her self-titled debut album, released that same year. The album spawned two top 10 hits in the U.K.
The pop singer began dating David Beckham in 1997 after meeting at a charity soccer match. The pair married in 1999.
Long celebrated for her sleek fashion sense in the Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous design label in 2008. The company won designer brand of the year at the British Fashion Awards in 2011.

Romeo Beckham
Romeo Beckham, 23, is Brooklyn Beckham’s younger brother and the second son of David and Victoria Beckham.
Following in his father’s athletic footsteps, Romeo joined the youth soccer club, Arsenal’s Academy, in 2014. He quit the sport the following year after he was released from the academy.
Romeo Beckham made his return to soccer in 2021, joining Fort Lauderdale CF (now Inter Miami II), the reserve affiliate of David Beckham’s Inter Miami soccer club. In 2023, the budding soccer star joined England’s Brentford B club on a six-month loan.
Romeo Beckham has also taken a page from his mother’s fashion book, appearing as a runway model during London Fashion Week in September.
Cruz Beckham
Cruz Beckham, 20, is Brooklyn Beckham’s younger brother and the third son of David and Victoria Beckham.
Proving he inherited his mother’s musical gene, Cruz Beckham released his debut single, “If Everyday was Christmas,” in 2016 at the age of 11. In 2025, he released the singles “Optics” and “Lick the Toad.”
The singer has also dabbled in modeling, appearing on the cover of i-D Magazine in 2022.
In December, Cruz Beckham weighed in on the family drama when he responded to a Daily Mail report that alleged David and Victoria Beckham blocked older brother Brooklyn Beckham on social media. Cruz said the alleged exclusion was “not true” and that Brooklyn had been the one to block his parents and his siblings online.
Harper Beckham
Harper Beckham, 14, is Brooklyn Beckham’s younger sister and the youngest child of David and Victoria Beckham.
While the young teen’s professional aspirations are unclear, she seems to have an eye for fashion.
“She’s not one of these kids who are going out with a full face of make-up and a crop top,” Victoria Beckham told Vogue Australia in 2022. “She actually said to me recently, ‘Mummy, I’ve seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls, and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short.'”
