Ben Parkinson MBE: The most severely wounded British soldier to survive the war (2006), he overcame massive injuries, including losing both legs, to walk again and raise money for charity.
Daniel Hellings: Awarded the Queen's Gallantry Medal for bravely searching for and finding four more IEDs on the ground after an explosion in Helmand Province.
Corporal Scott Dyson: Recognized for courage under fire in 2012 by aiding wounded in a, BBC, according to a report in the BBC.
Captain Mark Hale: Lost his life in 2009 while trying to save another soldier,
