Nicola Peltz reportedly gave Brooklyn Beckham an ultimatum after feeling upstaged by his mum Victoria at their wedding.
After months of ignoring his parents, David and Victoria, the wannabe chef, 26 ,ignited the family feud with the lengthy scathing statement as he called out their behaviour. Brooklyn’s statement on Monday, which made it clear he had no interest in reconciling with his family, also criticised his mum.
On Brooklyn’s Instagram Stories post, he claimed that the former singer had ruined what should have been his first dance with Nicola and danced “inappropriately” on him. The wannabe chef also claimed that Victoria had “hijacked” the moment, leaving him feeling uncomfortable and humiliated.

He wrote: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.
“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”

But now, a source who claims to have worked at the wedding has refuted Brooklyn’s allegations and claims that he and actress Nicola did, in fact, have their first dance. They also claim that Nicola had danced with her father, Nelson, before Brooklyn and Victoria’s moment.
Meanwhile, a friend of Victoria, DJ Fat Tony, who DJ’ed at the wedding, also claimed tha the dance was not inappropriate. Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Fat Tony said: “There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girls actions. The word inappropriate – why I said it was inappropriate as well, because it was the timing.”
According to DJ Fat Tony, Nicola Peltz wasn’t the only one to walk out on her wedding after Victoria Beckham’s “inappropriate” dance with her son, Brooklyn. The DJ said the entire Peltz clan followed her out.
While DJ Fat Tony appears to have backed up Brooklyn’s claims, Vogue, which covered the 2022 wedding at the time, reported that the pair shared their first dance to Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love, and that Marc Anthony played later. The outlet said that Brooklyn “invited his mother on stage for a dance” and that they were joined by dad David and little sister Harper.

Now a butler at the 2022 bash has told The Sun Nicola gave Brooklyn an ultimatum after their big day, they said: “Nicola is the problem and the reason Brooklyn and his parents don’t talk. After the dance row, she told Brooklyn in regard to David and Victoria: ‘I don’t want to be around them, and you have a decision to make: Me or her’.
“She gave him an ultimatum and he was helpless in that scenario to do anything other than choose his wife.”
The publication further claims that Nicola has ‘put her foot down’ and said ‘I’m not going’ to any invitation from David and Victoria.
The Mirror approached Nicola Peltz’s and Brooklyn Beckham’s representatives for comment.
