Brooklyn Beckham previously revealed details about his connections with Royal Family members and heaped praise upon Prince William. The 26-year-old is the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, with the influential duo believed to maintain longstanding friendships with Royal Family members.

Manchester United legend David received his knighthood late last year and has graced many royal occasions over the years accompanied by his former Spice Girl wife. In 2024, Brooklyn faced questions about his family’s royal connections while appearing on US chat show Watch What Happens Live!

Talking to presenter Andy Cohen, he responded to a viewer’s question asking which of the royals Brooklyn had spent the most time with growing up. The question mentioned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the chat show host asked: “Growing up, which members of the Royal Family did you see the most often, especially since your family is friends with Harry and Meghan?”

This was followed by the host asking: “What’s he like? Is there something about him that people don’t get? Is he fun?”

Brooklyn was full of praise for Prince William as he replied: “He’s just like the sweetest guy ever. He really is. He’s really down to earth. He’s really [a] good guy.”

His parents have graced two Royal ceremonies in recent times, including being guests at Prince William’s marriage to Princess Kate at Westminster Abbey in 2011. They subsequently attended Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding at George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in 2018.

The Beckhams have been caught up in a family dispute that escalated this week as Brooklyn launched a scathing attack on his parents through an explosive social media statement. The eldest child had been absent from numerous family occasions last year, including his father’s 50th birthday celebration and his knighthood ceremony.

Part of Brooklyn’s statement reads: “Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.

“Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer … My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else.

“Brand Beckham comes first. Family “love” is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”

The Inter Miami co-owner sidestepped a question regarding his son’s statement during his appearance at the Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland on Monday evening.
