Lili Reinhart went for high gloss in her take on a Patou trenchcoat for the French fashion house’s latest show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week on Sunday.

The “Riverdale” alum turned to the fashion label’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection for her attire to the fall 2026 collection’s show, sporting a coated felt embossed to look like a high-gloss crocodile skin trenchcoat. The look featured long sleeves and sharp lapels with an exaggerated collar.

Silhouette definition was created thanks to a thick belt at the waist. Gold buttons ran down the front placket of the coat, while the midi skirt of the coat flowed for a sense of movement. Reinhart completed her look with pair of Giuseppe Zanotti slingback black pumps and carried a Patou Le Sack Lock Bag in black for a monochrome finish.

Among the details for her glam, Reinhart’s hair was styled in a slicked-back look with serene makeup elements. Reinhart has collaborated with stylist Ib Abdel Nasser on her wardrobe selections in the past.

While Patou’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection focused on utilitarian details, the 2026 edition of designer and the house’s artistic director Guillaume Henry’s curation for the season took inspiration from “Henri Matisse and Pieter Bruegel the Elder but also the Middle Ages,” per Lily Templeton’s WWD review of the collection.

“Options that followed ranged from polo shirts, smart straight-leg slacks, thin chimney-neck sweaters, roomy blousons and cropped biker jackets to knee- and midi-length handkerchief skirts and floor-length gowns in lace and devoré velvet. Footwear spanned from soft sneakers to stiletto-heeled boots, continuing his everywoman approach for the season,” Templeton wrote.

“There was also a substantial tapestry fabric and a print inspired by the sketches Copist monks would doodle in margins. While those were among new textile developments, Henry was sustainably minded, using offcuts for color-blocked tops for example.”
