Ali Larter radiates confidence as Angela Norris in “Landman,” but she’s not as comfortable in a bikini as her character is.

“I don’t think there’s an actress alive that’s like, ‘Woo! Got a bikini scene!’” Larter, 49, said during a Monday, Jan. 26, interview with People. “Nobody wants to do it.”

Larter admitted that bikini scenes are “the hardest” for her to film.

“I don’t enjoy them. It’s just part of the story that I’m telling, and I’m an actress, so I get on board. But those are definitely my least favorite,” she said. “I’ve got to spend all this time fighting off my own insecurities, my own anxiety, to be able to put on that bikini and walk into these scenes.”

Larter previously shared how she stays in shape for the scantily clad scenes.

“I’ll tell you what. I work really hard, OK? I’m not pretending that I don’t,” the actress told People in November 2025. “I’m up at 4:30 [a.m.] on Mondays. I go for a run. It’s only 30 minutes. I try to eat very clean, but I eat. I’m one of those protein mommies. I eat so much protein all day long. It works for me.”

Larter added that no matter what your workout regimen is, confidence is key to rocking a bikini on camera.

“In the end, anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, it’s really difficult,” she said. “When I look around, the sexiest women I know are the women that own it. So, part of getting there with Angela is owning it.”

If bikini scenes are her least favorite, Larter’s ideal day on the “Landman” set is filming “a real, honest quiet exchange between Angela and Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton).” Tommy and Angela are divorced, but they rekindled their romance during season 1.

Season 2 of “Landman” came to an end on Jan. 18. The Paramount+ series, which has already been renewed for season 3, centers on Tommy, a high-level employee at an oil company.

In addition to Larter and Thornton, “Landman” stars Jacob Lofland (Cooper Norris), Michelle Randolph (Ainsley Norris), Paulina Chavez (Ariana Medina), Kayla Wallace (Rebecca Falcone) and Demi Moore (Cami Miller).

“Landman” is available to stream on Paramount+.
