Brooklyn Beckham breaks silence over family feud with Instagram post
Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding planner has expressed his astonishment at the model’s public criticism of his parents. Preston Bailey, who masterminded the 2022 ceremony, said Brooklyn was “a nice, gentle guy” and didn’t notice any signs of “tension” between him and Lady Victoria and Sir David during the celebrations.
He also came to the defence of Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, insisting he never witnessed the 31-year-old actress being “bossy”, despite recent claims levelled against her. Meanwhile, it emerged this week that Nicola found it difficult to address her husband’s parents by their first names.
Speaking today, Preston remarked: “I don’t remember her being bossy. I remember a lot of affection between them [Nicola and Brooklyn]. Whatever design was done was presented to Nicola, but it was important for her to have Brooklyn approve it. She wasn’t going to do anything without his approval.”

Preston, whose illustrious client list includes Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Uma Thurman, and Michael Douglas amongst others, has broken his silence following Brooklyn’s damning remarks about his rift with his celebrated parents, reports the Mirror.
In conversation with Page Six, Preston continued: “It surprises me that he is taking this stand against his parents. That’s not the Brooklyn I met as far as him being this nice, gentle guy… He was just a nice, regular person who would say hello and chit chat.
“I can tell you about my experience with Brooklyn. While we were planning, clearly as far as the details for the design, he was very much involved. I have always thought of him as a gentle, decent guy. There was never any tension.”

However, Brooklyn has accused Lady Victoria, 51, of “dancing inappropriately” on him at the wedding, alleged behaviour which he claims left him feeling humiliated.
The 26-year-old’s fans have called on the budding chef to share video evidence of the alleged dancing to back up his claims.
Brooklyn has also criticised his mother for allegedly scrapping plans for her atelier to create Nicola’s wedding gown.
He has claimed his parents pressured him to sign away the rights to his name ahead of the ceremony.
Lady Victoria and Sir David, meanwhile, have stood firm throughout the furore. The fashion designer received a prestigious award in Paris this week.

During her speech after being awarded the title of Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres – a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters, she acknowledged all her offspring – though didn’t mention them by name.
She said: “This is not the achievement of just one person. From design and the atelier, to the production and communication teams, and the many minds and hands working together – it is a collaborative effort, and this distinction isn’t mine alone.
“So I’d like to thank my incredible team for their dedication, creativity and trust. Thank you to my parents and to my children who are always believing in my vision.”
