The LPGA’s Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions is underway weekend from the hallowed grounds of Lake Nona Golf Course.
Defending Champion A Lim Kim won her third career LPGA title here last year. She will be going up against World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul and World No. 2 Nelly Korda as well as a stacked field of challengers.
Hard to believe that World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul will make her debut at the LPGA TOC this week. The seven-time LPGA winner was on the range with her caddie late in the day at chilly Lake Nona. pic.twitter.com/fObdiPYkhX

Star studded field at Lake Nona
The Tournament of Champions draws a big audience not just because of the deep list of talented winners of the past, but also because there is a big group of sports and TV personalities that will be looking to win the celebrity purse in southeast Orlando.
The long roster of celebrities with incredible handicaps will make the $500,000 prize difficult to take home considering there are some recreational golfers who have plus handicaps. John Smolts and Mardy Fish are the top dogs, and probably the favorites with a +1.9 and +3.1 respectively. Former LPGA player Cheyenne Woods’ husband Aaron Hicks who played in the MLB as a +1 handicap, and former three point specialist Ray Allen is a +1.2 handicap.
Pro football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson has lived in Lake Nona since 2011 and got the golf bug in 2017. On Thursday at the TOC, he’ll tee it up alongside two LPGA HOFers and Nona residents: Lydia Ko and Annika Sorenstam. pic.twitter.com/42Wv3GyNr0
