Brooklyn Beckham’s ex Afton McKeith has hinted that his parents, David and Victoria, were the ones tipping off the paparazzi with his whereabouts amid their public family feud

Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend Afton McKeith has claimed that his famous parents, David and Victoria, used to leak his location to the paparazzi. Brooklyn, 26, dated Gillian McKeith’s daughter back in 2017, before he married now-wife Nicola Peltz in 2022.
The eldest Beckham son launched a social media attack on his estranged parents last week, accusing them of trying to “ruin” his marriage and insisting that he wants nothing to do with them. “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote on Instagram.
“The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own façade.”

His ex-girlfriend Afton has now spoken out about the Beckham family feud, insinuating that Victoria and David tipped off the paparazzi about Brooklyn’s schedule when they were together. Speaking to ITV News, she said: “I could see that he would get visibly distressed and anxious.
“I do know that there were paparazzi every single, like, pretty much every day. And somebody would’ve been organising that, who knew his schedule inside out because it’s not like random.”
While she wouldn’t say who she thought it was, she said that it wasn’t anyone at school but “someone who knew his schedule from start to finish” and “inside out”. She added: “So, you can think about who that might be that would know that.”

When asked whether it was his parents, Afton gave a knowing look and refused to comment further. She also said that Brooklyn made “the right decision” by posting his bombshell statement given the “false narrative” about him and wife Nicola in the press.
“I think doing the best for your children is protecting your children,” she added. “And putting your children in the public eye is very exposing.”

The Mirror has reached out to David and Victoria’s representatives for comment.
Brooklyn made a series of explosive claims in his Instagram statement last week, claiming that Victoria and David wanted him to sign away the rights to his name. He also said that his mum dropped out of making Nicola’s wedding dress “in the eleventh hour”, called him “evil” for missing them off the top table and “humiliated” him by “hijacking” the couple’s first dance.
The drama appears to have widened the rift within the Beckham family, with Brooklyn’s brothers Cruz and Romeo appearing to swipe at him in a TikTok video. Cruz shared a video to the p0latform of himself in a car with girlfriend Jackie Apostel, his brother Romeo and Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull, with the caption: “Imagine hating and we’re just here like.”
