Is there anything more special than a birth announcement? The excitement after eagerly following along to someone’s developing pregnancy or a surprise hard launch after the baby has been born is always so wonderful. Whether it comes from our friends, or those A-listers who we just admire on social media, there’s nothing like new baby news to brighten our day!
Many of our favorite celebrities — from Millie Bobby Brown to Rihanna — became parents again (or for the first time) in 2025, whether they welcomed their baby through pregnancy, surrogacy, or adoption. Some parents gave their kids unique names, like Trisha Paytas, who named her son Aquaman Moses; while others gave them family names, like Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt’s daughter Scottie. Additionally, some celebs proudly show off pictures of their babe, in contrast to others who just show backward views or grainy pictures of their tiny fingers.
But no matter what the announcement looks like, we can’t help but feel joy whenever we hear of a new baby joining one of our favorite celebrity families. Troian Bellisario & Patrick J. Adams

Pretty Little Liars alum Troian Bellisario welcomed her third child with husband Patrick J. Adams.
The Suits star shared a photo of himself on Instagram holding his newborn’s hand, captioned, “Tag. You’re it.” So far, they haven’t released details of the baby’s name or sex.
The couple are already parents to daughters Aurora, 7, and Elliot, 4.
Jana Duggar

Jana Duggar (pictured on the far right) welcomed her first baby with husband Stephen Wissmann.
“We took some time to settle into our new rhythm before sharing this sweet news 🤍” the former 19 Kids and Counting star wrote on Instagram in January, revealing the first photos of her baby boy. “Archie Gerald Wissmann arrived on December 30, 2025, and our hearts have been completely changed.”
“We’re soaking in these early days, full of love, wonder, and so much gratitude,” she added.
Meghan Trainor & Daryl Sabara

Meghan Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child and first girl via surrogate in January. The “Mother” singer announced their daughter’s birth with several pictures, including ones with her sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, meeting their sister for the first time.
“Jan 18th 2026 Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” Trainor wrote on Instagram. “We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible. We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.”
“We are over the moon in love with this precious girl,” she added. “Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name. We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all🩷🥹🎀”
Ansel Elgort

The Fault in Our Stars actor Ansel Elgort just became a dad for the first time. A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the 31-year-old actor welcomed a baby in January, although they didn’t release details on the baby’s name or sex.
TMZ shared pictures of the Baby Driver star out with his partner, while holding the baby in a teddy bear onesie in a blue baby carrier while out and about in New York City.
Lo Bosworth

Lo Bosworth is officially a mom! The Hills alum welcomed a baby girl with husband Domenic Natale in January, their first child. “🎀 our girl Nelle is here 🎀” Bosworth announced on Instagram on Jan. 15.
“She started the year by surprising us two weeks early, but really, she was right on time,” Bosworth continued. “Our teeny one is named for her Oma and already so loved.”
Bosworth also shared the first picture of Nelle, who was sweetly snuggling with her mom in the hospital bed.
Meghan McCain

Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech welcomed their third baby on Jan. 2 named Ransom McCain Domenech. The couple revealed the news to PEOPLE, saying, “Everyone is happy, healthy and exhausted. We’re absolutely over the moon that our baby boy is here.”
“We’re so grateful to the incredible doctors and medical staff who took such wonderful care of all of us,” McCain, who is also mom to daughters Liberty Sage, 5, and Clover Jade, 2, continued. “Liberty and Clover are so excited to have a baby brother. Our family is so blessed.”
Derek Hough & Hayley Hough

Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough announced the birth of his first baby with wife Hayley Hough in January.
“Everley Capri Hough 🤍” he revealed the baby’s name on Instagram, adding that she was technically born on Dec. 29, 2025 (but since he didn’t announce until 2026, we’ll count it!).
“Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed,” he added in the caption. He also shared a beautiful black-and-white photo of him and Hayley’s hands wrapped around two newborn feet.
