EXCLUSIVE: Impression Entertainment has signed Ari Millen, the star of Eli Roth’s forthcoming horror film Ice Cream Man.
In the film, releasing this summer, Millen plays exactly the kind of character you’d expect — an ice cream man who leads an idyllic suburban town to fall into madness when he begins serving kids with tasty treats, with horrifying results.
Additional screen credits for Millen include The Expanse (2018), The Oak Room (2020), Vicious Fun (2020), and The Boy in the Woods (2023).
A native of Ontario, Canada, Millen first garnered recognition for his turn as clones opposite Tatiana Maslany in the acclaimed science-fiction series Orphan Black (Space/BBC America), a performance that earned him the 2016 Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor in a Dramatic Program or Series. He studied theatre at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) before launching his professional career on stage and in independent film.
Founded by Jill Littman and Michael Baum, Impression Entertainment also just signed Heated Rivalry‘s François Arnaud. Other notable clients include Édgar Ramírez, Antony Starr, Reid Scott, and María Gabriela De Faría, to name a few.
Millen continues to be represented by The Characters Talent Agency and Stewart Talent.
