Sydney Sweeney announced through her Instagram story that the “Seductress” collection from her new lingerie line, SYRN, sold out within hours after the release. The Euphoria star announced this on her official Instagram profile. In her story, Sweeney wrote, “Still in shock, we sold out in HOURS!! We’re working on a restock soon. I’m so grateful. I love you allll.”
She further directed the potential customers towards SYRN’s official website, where they could sign up for a newsletter alerting them about future drops.
But the initial response to her brand goes on to show the clever marketing behind the launch, which garnered immense attention from users around the globe. Interestingly, her hotly debated stunt, where she strung up the Hollywood sign with bras to promot eher brand, ended up working wonders for her.
Though there have been debates about the legality of the endeavor, it did give the brand extreme exposure. At the time of writing, the video of Sweeney and her crew attempting the stunt already has more than 8 million views.
TMZ reported that the Chamber of Commerce, which owns the Hollywood sign, claimed that Sweeney did not have the requisite permission to pull off the stunt. “Anyone intending to use and/or access the Hollywood Sign for commercial purposes must obtain a license or permission from the Hollywood Chamber to do so,” chamber chief Steve Nissen told TMZ, “The production involving Sydney Sweeney and the Hollywood Sign, as reported by TMZ, was not authorized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce nor did we have prior knowledge of it.”
However, it remains unclear whether Sydney Sweeney and her team would face any legal troubles.
