- Probably the most famous actor/animal duo. Roy Rogers bought Trigger after starring with him in a Robin Hood movie. They costarred in many movies together and Trigger knew over 150 trigger cues.
- Sophia Turner adopted Zunni, the Northern Inuit dog who played Lady in Game of Thrones.
- Viggo Mortensen bought two horses from LOTR, including the picture Uraeus. He also bought the titular Hidalgo (played by TJ).
- Tiffany Haddish adopted one of the kittens she met on the set of Keanu. She named him Catonic.
- Brendan Fraser adopted Pecas, who he met filming the miniseries Texas Rising.
- Yvette Nicole Brown adopted Mister Harley Brown after working with him on the live action Lady and the Tramp.

- This one is a bit of a stretch. Chris Evans was filming a scene for Gifted in an animal shelter. Upon learning all of the animals were actually adoptable, he looked around and found Dodger! The rest is history.
