The report stated that the version running on the platform is the same as the one being showcased in theaters. The revised version with words like ‘Baloch’ being dropped started screening in theaters from January 1, 2026. The insider further shared with the website, “That is a shorter version, and the same is streaming on Netflix. It is the same as the theatrical/CBFC-approved version. As with all theatrical films, the three-minute runtime difference is due to elements such as interval plates or in-theatre ad requirements that do not carry over to digital platforms.”Apparently, the report added that the new I&B Ministry Broadcasting Services (Regulation) Bill is the reason the changes were made. The source told the portal, “The expletives being beeped out could be a result of that, as they wish to regulate profanity and intimate scenes on OTT platforms.”
