David Beckham has seemingly taken a “dig” at his Brooklyn amid their viral feud. The son of footballing legend David and Spice Girl Victoria, 26, recently sent shockwaves around the world when he unleased a series of bombshell accusations against his parents amid their estrangement.
In the years before Brooklyn married heiress Nicola Peltz, he had tried to kickstart a career as a chef with his short-lived Cookin’ With Brooklyn series, and famously made a bacon sandwich on The Today Show. David is good friends with renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, who creates dishes for meal box company Real Home Chef, and on Saturday, Gordon took to Instagram to post a video of David making scallop truffle risotto.
David said: “Look what has just arrived at my house. What have you sent me?” and Gordon replied: “It’s a little gift from chef to chef.” Making a joke out of the picture of Gordon on the side of the box, David quipped: “You could have smiled by the way,” to which Gordon replied: “That is me smiling, sorry [laughs]. Inside that box is a five star recipe of a beautiful scallop truffle risotto, which I know you love!”

David set about putting the dish together, and Gordon told him: “They are looking beautiful. Great sear by the way. Belissimo!” As he sprinkled chives over the top, the footballer said: “I’ve had a good teacher. All done mate, finishing touches!” It all comes just days after Brooklyn shared his spaghetti bolognese dish that featured no spaghetti.
His followers instantly reacted to the video, and were left confused when the former photographer decided not to use garlic and used his bare hands to remove the chopped tomatoes from the tin.
“No garlic? And why scoop the tinned tomatoes out with your hands?,” one person asked.
While another added: “Why on God’s green earth did he pick the tomatoes out the can with his bare hands instead of just plonking them in like a normal human?” Instead if spaghetti, Brooklyn had used pasta shells as the base of the classic dish, and when challenged by fans on this, he explained: “I was going to use spaghetti but ran out xx”
Others also said the dish was ‘basic’ and ‘nothing special’, however, someone else exclaimed: “Well done! Your kitchen, you did it your way! Ignore the critics!”

Brooklyn’s initial statement went viral as soon as he released it onto his Instagram page last week. It read: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.
“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
While these claims remain unverified, they have prompted renewed scrutiny of Victoria’s conduct at family events. Brooklyn’s explosive statement has divided Beckham fans into Victoria vs Brooklyn supporters.
