Jennifer Lopez traded curve-hugging outfits for ultra-baggy elegance during a recent outing in Los Angeles on January 22. The singer and actress stepped out in a pair of wide-leg ‘rich lady‘ trousers in a sleek cement gray color, cinched high at the waist with a matching skinny belt for a polished silhouette.
The ex-wife of Ben Affleck paired the pants with a simple long-sleeve gray top tucked neatly in, sky-high beige platform heels, and added a bold pop of color with a red Hermès bag. Tinted sunglasses, a plum lip gloss, and her honey-blonde hair worn down in a center part completed the chic look. See the outfit here!
Jennifer Lopez Rocks The ‘Rich Lady’ Pants
Jennifer’s flared pants paired with a statement bag have become her signature formula for effortless chic. The 56-year-old is often credited with reviving this retro silhouette, shifting the trend from skinny jeans to more relaxed, wide-leg styles. She often completes the look with high-heeled platform boots to elongate her legs, tailored blazers, and luxury accessories such as a Birkin bag.
She most recently rocked the look during a touching encounter with a homeless man in LA. The mother of two stepped out in a gray textured tailored blazer with flap pockets layered over a fitted white shirt. She paired the business-casual outfit with flared jeans, pointed-toe heels, and sunglasses. Her hair was worn down in a center part, and she carried an ultra-rare Hermès Kelly Sellier handbag—valued at over $80K—while holding a coffee cup in hand.
J.Lo showed her generous side when a homeless man approached her asking for change, and she reached into her bag to give him some. The man appeared overjoyed by her kindness, exclaiming, “I don’t care, I love you. Thank you, Jennifer. Oh, yes baby.”
J.Lo Addresses Comments Over Her Revealing Stage Outfits
While her street style leans toward comfortable pieces and a mix of classics with trends, her onstage outfits often ignite backlash for their daring cuts and revealing designs. But leave it to her to clap back at the trolls critiquing her skintight bodysuits.
During her opening night performance on December 30 of her Las Vegas residency, she addressed the audience:
“Ah, scrolling through the internet—why do we do this to ourselves? It’s so crazy.”
“You know, thank God I’ve been doing this a long time. I can just ignore a lot of it really doesn’t mean nothing. I tell my kids that all the time,” she added, referring to her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
“I do laugh at some of the things sometimes, because they do say funny things too,” she continued, mocking trolls who comment, “Why she always dressed that way? Why don’t she dress her age? Why she always n***d?” Lopez explained. “And I said, ‘If you had this b**ty, you’d be n***d too.’”
She then turned to give the audience a full view of her body, showing off a tiny green sequin and fringe ensemble with a bra top and feathery miniskirt, held together only by two crisscrossing strips of fabric over her abdomen.
