Patsy Kensit has claimed she enjoyed a secret romance with late Hollywood icon Terence Stamp. The 57-year-old star claimed she fell for the Superman legend in the early 1990s – when she was 23, and he was 53.
Terence, who was Oscar-nominated for his role in the 1962 film Billy Budd, died in August last year at the age of 87. And while he was not married until he was 64 – when he wed shop worker Elizabeth O’Rourke in a marriage that lasted from 2002 until 2008 – he enjoyed high-profile romances with huge stars, including actress Julie Christie and supermodel Jean Shrimpton.
In a new interview, Patsy has claimed she also enjoyed a fling with the British actor, revealing they met at a party in London before they both ended up acting in the 1991 crime thriller Prince of Shadows, which was filmed in Madrid. Patsy has recalled that the love affair ultimately came to an end as she secured another acting gig that took them apart.

She told The Sun: “We were star-crossed lovers and he was a total gentleman. Even though there was an age gap, we had a strong bond. He was an amazing and generous lover.”
Patsy described Terence as “probably the most beautiful man I’d ever seen” and explained that their romance was far from just physical. She recounted: “He used to write me these wonderful love letters about lucid dreams he had. His handwriting was like art. I’ve still got them in storage; I couldn’t bear to part with them.
“He was really ahead of the game with modern medicine and homoeopathy, and my mum was dying of cancer at the time. When she died, I discovered all these letters he had been writing to her. They were in regular correspondence, and he was encouraging her to take all these supplements and eat certain foods.” The Sun went on to report that Pats is planning her memoirs – suggesting further past love bombshell revelations could soon see the light of day.

Patsy was engaged to Patric Cassidy from 2023 until 2024
Back in 2024, Patsy declared she had given up trying to find a man following a string of failed marriages and engagements. Her announcement came just a couple of months after she called off her whirlwind engagement to property tycoon Patric Cassidy, which was reported as coming to an end following a series of arguments.
Patsy confessed she “believes in love”, but after a string of failed relationships, she’s ready to embrace singlehood and take a break from dating for a while. She was previously married to Dan Donovan in 1988, but they split just three years later. She then went on to wed Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr in 1992, and they welcomed their son James a year later, but divorced in 1996.
Her most famous marriage was to Oasis star Liam Gallagher, marrying in 1997 and welcoming a son, Lennon, in 1999. But one year later, they divorced, after their marriage was rocked by claims of Liam’s infidelity. She later married DJ Jeremy Healy in 2009, but they split 10 months after the wedding.
In 2024, she opened up about a need to “adjust” her life to make herself happy. She told Hello! magazine at the time: “I wouldn’t want a relationship, I am not interested. I do believe in love. But for me, it’s not something I need. I have been on my own a long time, and I like my own company. Now, it’s just adjusting my life to fill the hole that’s in my soul.”
She also discussed the painful collapse of her skincare brand Preciously Perfect in 2021, and she was forced to sell her home. Patsy dismissed reports she was wealthy because of her “past marriages”, and said she had to “start again” after the brand went bust overnight. “I have always owned houses, but I had to sell my home and totally start again. It was brutal, particularly because I have worked so hard and then suddenly I was like: ‘Who am I?’” she shared.
Her comments to Hello! came just weeks after she told The Mirror she didn’t speak to any of her ex-husbands, but was supportive of her two sons James and Lennon to have a good relationship with their fathers. “My goals always been that my sons had a really good relationship with their fathers,” she began. “For me. I haven’t spoken or had contact with those men. I am very supportive of their relationships with their fathers, but I don’t have one. I like it that way.”
While it is believed she has a reasonably cordial relationship with Liam, she explained last year that she would not be attending any of Oasis’s epic reunion tour gigs. Appearing on Good Morning Britain last year, Patsty revealed she was pleased to see her ex back on tour as Oasis and that their shared son would have the chance to see his dad perform with the iconic band, who famously split in 2009.
She told the ITV show: “My 24-year-old son, he’ll be there, and he’ll have a lovely time. Great for him to see all of that, and I’m happy for his dad. I think it’s a wonderful thing. But I won’t be attending.”
