Attila frontman Chris Fronzak has once again found himself adjacent to controversy, this time amid renewed backlash against supporters of U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
Fronzak has long been known for courting provocation, from inflammatory lyrics in the band’s early catalog and public feuds, to adult film ventures, diss tracks, and various headline-grabbing stunts. Despite even launching a tongue-in-cheek presidential “campaign” in the past, Fronzak has generally been more reserved when it comes to directly engaging in overt political discourse.
Over the weekend, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland reignited political debate after posting a message to his Instagram story condemning Trump supporters and urging them to unfollow him. Borland wrote:
If any of my followers voted or support Trump or are still friends with anyone who supports the Trump administration you’re out. F*ck you. Never contact me again.
The post quickly circulated online, drawing attention across social media platforms. Eventually getting to Fronzak, to which he responded:
I thought he was smarter, kind of a retarded thing to say, there’s no reason to lose most of your fan base over a political opinion lmao
