Kate Middleton harkened back to the 1960s with a vintage coat during a visit to Wales on Tuesday.
The Princess of Wales paid a visit to Hiut Denim textile manufacturer, wearing a coordinated look with earth tones and warm reds throughout. Her ensemble featured pieces like a pair of Victoria Beckham “Alina” twill wide-leg trousers in a shade of green, paired with a dark green turtleneck from N.Peal London.

Middleton also wore a pair of Emmy London chocolate suede pointed-toe pumps. The Princess of Wales accessorized her look with earrings from Spells of Love jewelry, a brand based in Wales. Topping off her look, the British royal added the vintage coat, which was designed with an ornate pattern and shades of brown and burnt sienna.
Middleton’s sartorial choices often carry a significant sentimental meaning or message for occasion dressing, and her choice of coat was no different. With her vintage outerwear piece coming from the 1960s and featuring such an ornate pattern, the piece directly evoked the same type of work done at Hiut Denim.

The textile manufacturer is a family-owned company that designs and manufactures premium jeans entirely in the U.K. Hiut was founded in 2011 to bring the knowledge and skill of jean-making back to Cardigan, a community in Wales, where production began in the 1960s.
Tuesday’s outing marks Middleton’s latest solo trip of 2026. Following a couple of joint outings with husband Prince William, the Princess of Wales kicked off the year with a trip to the North of England on Jan. 27, showing off both her suited sensibility and outdoorsy side.
