The explosive reunion of director Guy Ritchie and action star Jason Statham got even bigger. The ensemble for their upcoming action thriller film has grown with seven major new cast members, promising the high-octane, character-rich thrills fans expect from this iconic duo.

Jason Statham-led Viva La Madness adds Vinnie Jones and more to cast

Black Bear has officially announced the powerhouse cast joining Jason Statham in Viva La Madness, Guy Ritchie’s latest directorial effort. The new additions are Jason Isaacs, Vinnie Jones, Babs Olusanmokun, Camila Mendes, Ben Foster, Jonny Lee Miller, and Grammy-winning artist Raúl Alejandro. Production on the film began earlier this year.

The project is based on the novel by JJ Connolly, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ritchie. While specific plot details remain tightly guarded, it has been confirmed that Viva La Madness is a stand-alone, original film and not a continuation of any previous work.

This announcement also features several exciting reunions. Vinnie Jones has his fifth collaboration with Ritchie, having previously starred in classics like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, as well as Mean Machine, which also featured Statham. Babs Olusanmokun, known for Dune, teams with Ritchie again after The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and Jonny Lee Miller recently worked with the director on The Covenant.

Viva La Madness was developed by Statham’s Punch Palace Productions and Thomas Benski for Lumina Studios. They are producing alongside Ritchie and Ivan Atkinson for Toff Guy Films and John Friedberg for Black Bear. Amazon MGM Studios will handle international distribution, with Black Bear managing the film’s domestic release.

This film continues a strong partnership, as Viva La Madness is Black Bear’s latest collaboration with both Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham. Fans would have to wait a while for the trailer and release date announcement, but with production already underway, it will be possible soon.
