Source say it’s “impossible” to get the feuding Spice Girls bandmates in one room

Spice Girls fans were delighted last week when Victoria Beckham, Mel C, Geri Halliwell-Horner and Emma Bunton got together for a singalong. On Thursday, Posh’s son Cruz posted a video in which he could be seen strumming away on his guitar while Victoria and her bandmates sang an acoustic version of their hit song Viva Forever.
But their bandmate Mel B was noticeably absent from the reunion – and now sources have claimed it’s because it’s “impossible” to get Scary Spice and Geri in the same room. According to pals, tensions between the pair reached boiling point after Mel B claimed they slept together on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories back in 2019.

“It’s literally impossible to get the pair of them in the same room,” a source told the Mail Online. “And when you do there is this fear that it will all kick off.”
Geri denied Mel’s claims, branding the comments ‘hurtful’. Mel told Piers: “She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house with her husband. But it’s a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.
“It was just that once. And hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it. Because it was just a fun thing.”
The last time the duo were spotted together was at Victoria’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2024. Mel B skipped Emma’s 50th party, nor did she attend Posh’s premiere of her Netflix documentary in October. According to insiders, Geri is still “so cross” about the claims Mel made on national television, so she’d “rather not be around Mel unless she has to be”.
Their feud comes after Victoria prompted rumours she could join her former bandmates for a reunion. Victoria hasn’t performed with the Spice Girls since their iconic Olympic appearance in London 12 years ago. Although she opted out of the 2019 stadium tour, Victoria has publicly expressed her support and has continued to honour the group’s legacy.

But on Thursday, her son Cruz posted a video in which he could be seen strumming away on his guitar while Posh and her bandmates sang an acoustic version of their hit song Viva Forever as they gathered around her dining room table.
Cruz – who is embarking on a tour of his own – captioned the video: “i think i found my openers… you think they have potential?” The reunion took place in Victoria’s London pad, but Mel B wasn’t present. Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel was also there to enjoy the special moment.
Victoria has dropped hints she might consider doing something with the band, previously uploading a clip of herself singing with son Cruz and posing for a snap with Emma, Mel C and Geri last month to mark Emma’s 50th birthday.
Meanwhile, the Beckham family feud continues to rumble on, with reports estranged son Brooklyn is trying to remove a tattoo dedicated to his dad. Despite Brooklyn’s change, dad David continues to wear his own marking regarding his son with pride. The former footballer posted a photo that shows the “‘Buster” neck tattoo in honour of his son.
In his explosive statement last month, Brooklyn admitted he has no intention of reconciling with his family. Instead, he is focusing on his life stateside with his wife and her clan.
