Jason Derulo was filmed dancing in the street during a surprise flash mob in front of fans in Manchester city centre.
The US-singer was spotted with a large dance crew along New Cathedral Street in the city centre grooving to his new single ‘Sexy for Me’ surrounded by a large audience. The flash mob was filmed and shared across social media.
It came as the hitmaker arrived in Manchester for his The Last Dance 2026 tour, which came to the Co-op Live arena on Saturday night (February 7). But before the show, it appeared he headed out into the city centre for the shock flash mob.

Surrounded by videographers and photographers, the Riding Solo hitmaker stepped out with an army of backing dancers, all dressed in black, to perform the high-energy hit as the rain poured down in Manchester.

Derulo first rose to fame back in late 2009 after the release of his debut hit Watcha Say, before going on to create a number of iconic noughties songs including Riding Solo, In My Head and It Girl.
Fans were sent into a frenzy after footage was shared online. User @martinrogers92 shared a video from the crowd of onlookers, captioned: Jason Derulo flash mob in Manchester…!”

One person wrote: “Omg how did I miss this!” as another commented: “Things I didn’t expect to see on a Sunday.”
“We saw you yesterday, complete surprise and you were all amazing. It made my day” responded another on Instagram.
The clip was filmed just hours before Derulo stepped out on stage for the two-hour performance at Co-op Live. The one-night gig brought a high-energy production, dramatic set designs and powerhouse vocals, the M.E.N reviewed.
