Former Gogglebox stars Mica and Marcus have shared a family update
A former Gogglebox star has been flooded with support following a “proud” family update.
Mica Ven and Marcus Luther won over viewers during their four-year run on the Channel 4 programme before bidding farewell in 2022. While they mostly appeared as a duo, Mica’s daughters, Sachelle and Shuggy, occasionally joined them on-screen.
Marcus also has a son, Shiloh Defreitas, and, together with Mica, they have a teenage son, Yash. Since hanging up their Gogglebox slippers, the couple still shares insights into their private life through Instagram updates.
In their latest update, Mica, also known as Big Meesh, expresses her pride as Yash becomes a national boxing champion following an injury.

Taking to social media on Monday (February 9), Mica shared a video montage of Yash suffering a medical emergency, followed by his determination to continue playing despite the injury.
Mica captioned the video: “Bad Man @yashtheboxer_And if you got as far as that piece of paper he handed to me, it’s just the official paperwork from @englandboxingofficial letting me know he’s made the Squad again!!!
“So keep working on them deep breathing exercises cos he’s back out again in June.”

She added: “Anyway moral of the story is Stay prayed up & Never give up. Shared with Love from a very proud & fiercely overprotective mum. Big Meesh.”
Friends and fans flooded the comments section with words of support, with one person writing: “Big up Mummy and Daddy for supporting him! Well done Yash.”
A second stated: “Awww this is”, while a third chimed in: “Awesome!!! Amazing what you can achieve with love, support and hard work!”.
Since leaving Gogglebox, boxing trainer Marcus and Mica launched a new YouTube series called The Labrish Show.

The weekly online show sees the couple answer viewers’ relationship dilemmas, after discovering that, in real life, Mica was helping many people as a hairdresser with a counselling qualification.
“Offline, I help a lot of people with their relationship dilemmas because what a lot of people don’t know is I come from a counselling background,” Mica told The Mirror in 2025.
“For some of the less sensitive dilemmas, I’m like, ‘Let’s get a male perspective on it.’ That’s how the show’s premise came about. From the Gogglebox sofa to the Labrish sofa. Gogglebox meets couples therapy with a drink in hand.”
They have also starred on Banged Up and Celebrity MasterChef.
Gogglebox airs Friday at 9pm on Channel 4
