Two prominent country music stars have trashed Kid Rock’s “embarrassing” Turning Point USA halftime show.

Turning Point USA put on an alternate Super Bowl 60 halftime show on Sunday evening. It was a success, numbers wise. More than five million people tuned into the show, led by Kid Rock. They are planning on bringing it back for 2027.

“The All-American Halftime Show pulled in OVER 25 MILLION views on just YouTube and Rumble alone, with a lot of large groups watching together, so the number of viewers is likely far higher. And the numbers are still climbing (broadcast partners, fast channel partners, and final counts incoming),” the show announced.

“Based on tonight’s success, we have committed to running it back again next year. The All-American Halftime Show will be back in 2027.

“God bless America. 🇺🇸”

But two prominent musicians were not fans.

Two country music stars trashed Kid Rock’s ’embarrassing’ halftime show

Both country music star Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves ripped Kid Rock’s alternate halftime show.

After Bad Bunny’s halftime show, Kacey Musgraves wrote: “Well. That made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done.”

In a deleted Instagram Story, Bryan took aim at Kid Rock.

“I don’t care what side you’re on, a bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe (expletive) on the planet,” according to Country Chord.

Official TV ratings for Bad Bunny’s halftime show will be out on Tuesday.
