A tram named after actress Vicky McClure has been renamed for the choir she founded for people living with dementia.
The Line of Duty star, from Nottingham, had a tram named after her by city operator Nottingham Express Transit (NET) in 2015.
On Wednesday, the new name of the tram was unveiled as ‘Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir’.
McClure, who requested the change, formed Our Dementia Choir as part of a BBC documentary in 2018, inspired by her time caring for her late grandmother, who had the disease.
