On Wednesday, the Coach front row was packed with Gen Z appeal. From the stars of buzzy films and shows to popular internet personalities, the brand knows its audience — and who its audience would be excited to spot in the show audience.

“ Here to see the new looks,” said “Him” star Tyriq Withers, gearing up for the press tour for his romantic drama “Reminders of Him,” out March 13. “I never pass up an opportunity to put a nice outfit on. Because a nice outfit is like armor; makes you feel better.”

Naturally, his armor for the moment was “head to toe Coach.”

“I got the Coach boot — nothing better than a boot, you know what I’m saying? You got free flowing pants, straight off runway. And then I have a little shirt with a little midriff. A little midriff with a blazer on, with Coach belt. I got my little pursey-purse,” he added, raising his beige Coach bag from the bench beside him.

Emily Bader, seated next to Withers, was also baring some midriff in the front row.

“ We wanted see something that felt a little ’90s effortless,” said the “People We Meet on Vacation” star. “A little Carolyn Bessette energy with the blazer — and then a little bit of skin, which is requiring me to clench my core this entire day.”

Bader added that it was her first time in the Coach front row, and the first time at Cipriani Broadway.

“Everything is so exciting and different, and I feel like I’m doing something new every single day and learning so much,” she said. “ I grew up thinking about Coach as, you know, they’re bags — you dream of them, you wanna like smell them. They’re so beautiful. And so to get to be here feels very full-circle.”

Other show guests included Elle Fanning, Odessa A’zion, Storm Reid, Caleb McLaughlin, popular streamer Valkyrae, Avantika, McKenna Grace, Demi Singleton, Ella Mai, J-pop singer Lilas Ikuta, Quenlin Blackwell, and Omar Apollo.

Apollo was named as Coach’s newest ambassador last month, and the musician will be featured in the brand’s upcoming watch, eyewear and fragrance campaigns.

”It’s been great,” said Apollo of working with the brand. “Everyone’s really sweet. Coach is really nice to me. I feel like there’s a lot of authenticity going around; everyone’s letting me be myself, and I don’t feel like I have to perform, which is nice.”

Apollo released his last album, “God Said No,” in 2024, and is in the process of working on new music. “I got a lot of work to do. Takes a long time. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little stressed about it, but it’s OK. These things always take time.”

For Apollo, New York Fashion Week is looking like a one-and-done experience. “ I might go to a premiere, watch a movie with a friend, then go to Thai Diner,” he said of his plans for the week ahead. “Go to the studio after this, and chill.”
